Nordic Organic Food Fair & Natural Beauty & Health Show 2024

Nordic Organic Food Fair co-located the Natural Beauty & Health Show is the annual trade expo for thousands of Nordic retailers to discover what’s new in natural, organic and sustainable products. Taking place at its new venue, Kistamässan, in Stockholm, it remains a vital opportunity for hundreds of brands to break into new markets across Scandinavia and beyond.

According to Statistics Denmark, Danish organic exports reached new heights in 2023. With a growth of 3% from the previous year, this increase is a main driving force for domestic production. Reports show that exports to the Swedish market amounts to 12% of the overall export market, with Germany at the top with 51%. And so, the show offers the perfect platform to tap into this rising market.

Due to the show’s unique positioning of offering Nordic and international exhibitors, it’s garnered a loyal list of supporters including Organic Denmark, IFOAM Organic Europe, Pro Luomu, Free From Awards, Organic Norway, V-Label – and more.

The Good Food Fair

Building on the success of previous editions, the Nordic Organic Food Fair will co-locate with The Good Food Fair for the first time. An exciting new section of the show, it’s dedicated to high-quality natural, ethical, sustainable and healthy food and drink brands. 

Event Director Melina Viking says: "With a commitment to sustainability, The Good Food Fair is set to present a diverse range of ethically sourced products, from Fairtrade to B-Corp certified and plant based to artisanal award-winners. The new show area is designed to empower buyers to cater to the conscious consumer. This initiative not only nurtures positive changemaking but also welcomes a wave of new brands, products, and cutting-edge innovations to the show.” 

A few exciting brands to see at The Good Food Fair include DAVA Foods, Sonnentor, Biofood, Wiik & Co, WellWell, MadeGood, Bek & Veggie, Oy Soya, and Divera Foods. 

The Innovation Awards

The Innovation Awards celebrate the best new products that have launched or recently launched onto the market. Products are shortlisted by visitors at the show, and then voted by a panel of industry judges. Make sure to head to the innovation zone to see the trend-setting products on offer and cast your vote for the awards.

The best of Denmark
Helping to drive the organic exports from Denmark to Sweden, the show will feature the new dedicated area for Danish organics: Made in Denmark – Supported by Organic Denmark. The pavilion will feature leading producers from Denmark, all wanting to grow their presence in Sweden and the Nordics.  

As well as Made in Demark, visitors can explore home-grown Nordic products on pavilions from Organic Sweden, KRAV, Biofood and Finland.  Additionally, the show’s international appeal is a huge draw for retailers. Buyers and foodservice professionals can discover the best choice of food and drink on Pavilions from Italy, Sri Lanka, Greece, Austria, Germany, Poland, Ireland, Belgium, Spain, and USA.  

Record-breaking start-ups

Buyers looking to meet the newest food and drink brands entering the market (with their exciting new products) can discover them across the show’s two start up areas – showcasing the latest challenger brands that have been on the market for 18 months or less. Brands to see here include Ceylon, Loonawell, SkinnyLove, CarlieBee, Trufbox, I Am Kooky, Mojo Mate, Seku Vanilla Company, and others. 

Pitch to the buyer session with MyCare

The Natural Beauty & Health Show will host a ‘first ever’ LIVE ‘pitch to the buyer’ session with MyCare, one of Sweden’s leading retailer and wholesaler for natural health and beauty products. Shortlisted beforehand, six participating exhibitors will get an exciting opportunity to introduce their latest products to senior buying teams and, potentially, earn themselves a listing with the retail giant.

Partnership with Ekoleveransen

The show has announced a new partnership with Swedish wholesaler Ekoleveransen to offer direct ordering from all exhibitors, straight to Swedish retailers. This new partnership will open the export door to many international brands, whilst offering Swedish retailers a taste of the world.
